I've begun clearing out my deviations, so as a reminder to everyone, any art you're missing and much more is available on my public art blog! I will no longer be publishing art to dA due to their terms of service policies changing. It's really hard for me to do this, since I grew up on (a completely different version of) this website since I was 16. A lot of old art will stay up on here for a bit while I get a hard drive ready to store it.

Y'know, AI art sucks to an extent (i think it could be a genuinely useful tool for people with aphantasia if the images it sourced from were EVER ethically obtained), but like what sucks more is the complete devaluing of art depending on who wants it. in 2022 we went from "art is worth BILLIONS on the crypto market, don't say it's worthless!!" to "art is worth nothing, I can make that same image with my computer in ten seconds". and you're all fucking wrong. Art doesn't have any set inherent value, but ALL art is valuable. Art exists above the idea of an economy. I love making commissions for people, and I honestly would never charge for them if I didn't NEED money to live, because making art for a living is absolutely miserable and takes the passion out of it--probably not for everyone, but that's how it works for me--and nothing will ever, ever be able to replace artists. Not because I don't think robots will be able to contemplate the human spirit or whatever, we're not that far along yet, but because artists will ALWAYS exist, and anything attempting to fill their spaces in society without them will always fail.

anyway. I hope anyone still reading this has a great 2023, and beyond! Thank you for spending your time on my page here as long as you have. I'll miss the community, as much as it had already disbanded in little ways long ago, and I'll miss feeling valued by you all.

yeah! this bullshit again! I have more time to archive my entire gallery on my own computer than i do to opt out of literal theft of my work. Follow my art tumblr!

I have a Patreon, though it's currently on hold until either life gets easier or i die!

i don't post on twitter and that site's not lasting long anyway, don't bother! I'm also on Youtube, where I occasionally post animation, animatics, and nerdy amvs. You'll recognize some pieces on there.

I've had a real, absolute stinker of a year and this is just cream on the corn or whatever. I'll be starting by deleting my deviations, one by one from earliest to latest, losing all the comments and faves on them from years gone by, and then eventually deleting my profile entirely. i wouldn't be surprised if other sites start to disappear in the next few years. If you're still reading this, I hope you can still find me to reach out.

So several complications hit in the middle of my move in November and as a result I've been technically homeless and staying with relatives since then, hence the absolute trickle of content. Thanks to all of you who continued to support my art during this time. These complications are finally drawing to a close and I will be independent for the first time in my life and yes I am excited and hoping this will lead to new opportunities and creativity. If you read this far, thanks for checking in! Stay safe and keep creating.

It's very simple and casual, I'm hoping people will support my artwork so I can get going on a webcomic project I have waiting in the wings.
